Mary Woodall, born 1976, was raised in between Baltimore, MD and the District of Columbia. 

While living for seven years in Shepherdstown, WV, Woodall received her BFA from Shepherd University in 1998, where she went on to instruct photography courses in 1999. 

After returning to Baltimore in 2001, she gained her teaching certification and instructed public school for five years. In 2007 Woodall moved to the west coast, obtaining her MFA from Washington State University in Pullman, WA in 2009.

Woodall continues to pursue her career as a contemporary artist. Her work has been shown at Conner Contemporary Art in Washington, D.C., Evergreen Museum in Baltimore, MD and The Armory Show in New York City, as well as being part of numerous private collections.

Woodall is currently residing in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
